Quand l'Azulejo Moderne Bouscule la LX Factory : Retour sur un Vernissage Magique - O Gringo - LX Factory

There are afternoons that mark a journey, and the one we just experienced at La Smart Galerie ( @lasmartgalerie ) , in the heart of the legendary LX Factory ( @lxfactory ) in Lisbon, is definitely one of them. Between the presentation of my new hybrid contemporary art collections, the live musical performances, and the moments of conversation, this exclusive event will remain etched in my memory.

This day was punctuated by memorable surprises. One of the most beautiful was the presence of my dear friend Magda (@madalicis), who gave me the immense gift of performing one of my favorite songs. A huge thank you to the maestro who elevated this moment by fusing classical and contemporary music, a perfect echo of my own artistic approach.

My gratitude also goes to the entire team at La Smart Galerie who bring this unique space to life every day, as well as to Dr. Dora Fernandes, representing the National Tile Museum of Lisbon (@museunazulejo). His words during his speech about my artistic journey and my work as a creator of modern azulejos deeply moved me.

I am very grateful to my collectors, who have given me success since my beginnings, and to those who acquired my mixed-media works at this event, whether in person or online. To all those who placed custom orders: I made you a promise, and I'm keeping it… I won't leave my studio until each piece is perfect!

In any case, none of this would be possible without the behind-the-scenes work of my production and management agency, Paris 75 Image, which consistently champions the feat of bringing incredible projects to life.
